One of the corner joints DBS offers is Butt Joint / Nailed and glued construction. We use only high quality, state-of-the-art production equipment to produce this detail.
• DBS offers a Butt Joint / Nailed construction where the corners are both glued and pin nailed.
• The ends of the sides are rabetted to ensure dimensions and a clean glue joint.
• The front and back sit inside the sides, leaving the end grain of the sides exposed.
• The top edges of all four sides are the same height, or flush.
• If hot melt is desired on recessed bottoms, please specify when ordering.
• This is an economical corner construction and works well with all types of plywood and pre-laminated materials.
